Freddie on BBC Radio Leeds, December 28th

Great news! Martin Kelner has just announced on his BBC Radio Leeds show that Freddie is to be one of the guests on his seasonal Last Lost Late Show, to be broadcast on Radio Leeds on December 28th between 10pm and 1am.
It will doubtless be available after that on BBC iplayer here. (No point in clicking the image above as it's a screengrab.)

If you'd like a taster of Freddie in festive mood to sustain you in the meantime, today's edition of Martin's regular show, available here, includes Samuel Tweet's unique rendition of I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus about 32 mins into the action.

After playing the song, Martin had these warm words to say about Freddie and his autobiography:
He's a living history of variety and music hall, he comes from a music hall background as well ... and it's all in his book Funny Bones. If you're looking for a last minute Christmas present or a bit of a stocking filler, it's a great book - it's his entire life, his grandad was a turn and everything, and it's about forty, fifty years of being a turn.
So if you're still not sure what to get for that all-important person in your life - and time is running out, remember - I can only suggest you take a tip from Mr Kelner. After all, he's on the BBC and everything.

Other comedians' autobiographies are available - but why would you bother?
